He's gotta have some shortcomings. No respect for your magic rocks. Is that teenage rebellion? I don't know. Few people, really, respect your rock love. [Lucifer has been one of them since before Istredd so. There's that. Right?]

If it's a teenage rebellion, everyone I know is in the middle of a teenage rebellion. I'm used to being the only one. At least here there are other people interested in the Singularity.

I figured. I'm curious to what builds, how one idea inspires another.

I only figured out the truth about the monolith because I was talking to someone who was completely different from me. The way he thought was nothing like how I did, so we managed to somehow branch off each other, and stumble upon a truth. It's probably how we'll figure it all out, if we ever do.
