No. The technology I used to enact such augmentation would be too dangerous in the hands of the Free Cities. I don't have the power I did in the imagined future--I would not be able to hide it from them.
I've been researching trying to find a way to anchor people who want to stay to the Singularity, to this sphere. It's possible finding it could also have an answer for a counterspell.
I admit I have always approached magic from a technological angle, having no inherent ability of my own. Thorne obviously did not devise the Summoning ritual with the connection to the Singularity that we have. I believe it can be done—and I do not trust the Singularity not to interfere, in its own way, should I reach out to it.
Hm, I suppose that is where we are opposites, as I know nothing of technology and a great deal about magic. The spell is magic and as far as I can imagine, technology would not be able to supersede it here. Unless there is a way for technology to teleport people to other realms safely.
