Istredd can't possibly make himself less like a sunbeam when Lucifer made such a lovely gesture. So if Lucifer needs to come back when he feels like he can handle it better, that's fine. He is currently looking through the book. It's fiction, which means he's not really that interested in the story, but the pages are old and the cover unique and it's more his type than anything shiny like in Hayle.
