If it does have an effect, it's minimal. We can sometimes have a very good effect on this sphere too. The abilities the Singularity gives us can be used to help others, and our very presence saved the Nether from gradual extermination.

The use of this space is unique to only us. The natives can't come here, or survive in the Singularity's crater. It's hard to know if we're stuck here because of the spell, or because this supernaturally powerful entity is purposely holding us here.
