[ Istredd will move everything he needs to for River and Cassian. They are his family more than anyone of his blood would be. His family has always been the Brotherhood but it was an unhappy relationship, most of the young mages always knew they were only fodder for their teachers to be used. With River and Cassian in that vision, he felt what real familial love could be like, and it hasn't left him. It's why this is painful for him even if it's the right thing.
