magicalarchaeologist: (wait what?)

"We all fuck up, and I'm sorry you got this far in your life not being allowed to be okay with that. No one is perfect. And no one can be good at everything." He thinks about how Lucifer pointed out he doesn't have to be excellent at everything and his baffled look back, like of course he has to be! But being here has taught him a lot of things about a healthier way of being, both with others and with himself. And everyone here has helped him get there, including Kell. He never thought he'd take someone under his wing, it was impossible in his mind before.

"That's a good start but ... Kell, please take this in the way it's meant, which is of care." He cares about Kell. All of what he is saying here comes from that place. "I think you put far too much on Rhy and what he wants and needs, and neglect yourself and your own independence. I think it's important for you to also be an individual, and you haven't been raised that way, but it's time for you to think about that." He means this kindly and he knows it's a complicated topic, it's not as simple as it is usually.

"I love Lucifer a great deal, and we are a good pair, but we are very much our own person with our own interests and motivations. Yennefer and I have known each other since we were children, and while we're a partnership, we have our own lives." Istredd is involved with two people, one on a more constant domestic level where they share everything, Lucifer, and another with a long history and working together, Yennefer.

"I think it's important for his end too, and that it doesn't feel to either of you like everything has to revolve around the other. You are two people, not one, and should be allowed to live that way."
