— FIRST IMPRESSIONS —

APPEARANCE Istredd is tall at 6'3 with light brown skin, dark brown hair, a dark brown beard, and unusually vivid blue eyes. He is lean and muscular from training with Lucifer in combat. He is almost always with a book. Despite his height and slightly striking looks, he is very good at being unassuming and keeping out of the way of people.

CLOTHING Istredd wears very neutral shades like blues and grays, and if he wears other colors like green or purple, they tend to be dark, washed out, or simply not the type to draw attention. None of it is fancy.

DEMEANOR Istredd is quiet, introverted, and not particularly comfortable around other people. He does not dislike people, in fact he's very interested in people, but he's not what one would call good at them. He listens very attentively when people talk and he's an enthusiastic talker. He loves books and knowledge and can talk about them for hours given the chance. He can be animated when hearing or discussing topics he finds interesting and he is generally a kind and soft-spoken man. He does sometimes get easily irritated if he feels someone is lying or misrepresenting something intentionally, and he is not great at holding his tongue if someone is being rude. Fight rudeness with rudeness apparently. Otherwise he mostly keeps to himself.

AURAL This is what he sounds like. To people from Earth, he would sound like he has a British accent. Technically a South West one, due to Royce's natural accent. His voice is deep and low and often flat, although it gets excited when talking about nerdy things. He does have a tendency to sound like he's lecturing even when he thinks he is simply sharing interesting (to him) facts.

PSIONICS MAGE Istredd's strongest type of magic is that of a psionics mage. It means he uses telepathy, telekinesis, and telempathy fluidly. He can share thoughts and feelings or read the mind/heart of others. While he prefers to always ask permission and be respectful, he has the ability to be aggressive with it and break minds if need be, he just will never do that unless forced. He shares a telepathic bond currently with Lucifer, Wanda, and Yennefer.

ILLUSIONIST Trained by a very old and powerful illusionist named Stregobor, Istredd can use his psionics to paint incredible illusions around him. He sometimes uses it to show examples of things, but he more often does it in small ways.

WARD AND DEFENSE ARTS Since Istredd's personality suited defense more than attack, he is skilled at creating shields of various types. He can make them out of any element or pure telekinesis. He has protection wards that he can place in any area, specifically mental wards are in place so people can't attack him mentally or try to pierce through his space.

BROTHERHOOD TRAINED MAGEIstredd was brought to the Brotherhood as a child when he first used his magic and trained there for years. He was hardened and tested and chosen personally by Stregobor for a variety of things. This means he is generally skilled at all types of magic from home, including portals, elemental abilities, potion making, learned spells, and a variety of other details. He knows of some magic other sorcerers do not due to his historical research.

PROFESSIONAL NERD Istredd is an extremely skilled scholar, researcher, and archaeologist.
